Birthday party celebrated for 93-year-old Chick-fil-A employee
The City of Odessa wished a happy birthday to one of its cherished own — 93-year-old Ms. Ann.
A birthday party was held last week at the Chick-fil-A on 42nd Street, where Ms. Ann has worked for 11 years. She doesn’t plan on leaving her beloved job anytime soon, according to city officials.
And that’s a good thing for customers.
“If you know Ms. Ann, you know she is the sweetest person in town,” city officials said. “She considers everyone who walks through the doors family. She loves her Chick-fil-A family and everything that they do for her.”
Ms. Ann joked that she’s a local celebrity who gets recognized everywhere.
Her employer thanked members of the local community that attended Ms. Ann’s birthday celebration.
“She is so blessed by our community,” it stated.
