Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation invites Permian Basin teachers to professional development conference

The Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation (CRSF) is hosting a free professional development conference for teachers in partnership with the Permian Strategic Partnership (PSP). The one-day STEM Summit will take place at Odessa College on Tuesday, June 13.

Teachers at schools throughout the Permian Basin with an existing CRSF STEM center or who are scheduled to receive one are encouraged to attend.

“We want to continue to be a partner and resource for teachers using our STEM centers,” said Steve Salam, CRSF President & CEO. “With breakout sessions, an expert panel and giveaway prizes, we hope teachers leave invigorated and inspired to integrate STEM into their lessons for the next school year.”

The STEM Summit will offer breakout sessions on a variety of topics, ranging from product training to integrating STEM practices into Texas or New Mexico state standards.

All participants will be eligible for continuing education credits and have the chance to win a $10,000 classroom makeover, along with other prizes.

Registration is required. To learn more about the STEM Summit and to register for the event, visit www.stem-summit.com.
