Chevron grants $95K to Carlsbad Community Foundation

The grant will be used to support the Foundation’s Chevron Catalyst Grant Program benefitting numerous nonprofits.

The impact of a new $95,000 grant from Chevron Permian “will be experienced throughout the [Carlsbad] community, as the donation’s purpose is varied,” according to the Carlsbad Community Foundation, Inc.

The grant will be used to support the Foundation’s Chevron Catalyst Grant Program benefitting numerous nonprofits. The funds will “support the Foundation’s long-term needs” and bolster activities and scholarships, the Foundation stated on social media.

“Chevron has been an Organizational Benefactor at the Foundation since 2016 and we greatly appreciate their partnership in improving the lives of people in our community,” the Foundation said.

The Carlsbad Community Foundation was established in 1978 and works to enhance lives in Carlsbad and South Eddy County. The Foundation supports residents in areas such as education, arts and humanities and health and human services, including via scholarships and grants.
