Circus coming to Carlsbad
The Jordan World Circus is coming to the Eddy County Sheriff Posse Rodeo Arena in Carlsbad next month.
The circus will hold two shows — at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. — on Wednesday, Sept. 14. Tickets can be purchased here.
The nationally touring show produced by Las Vegas residents Jody and Melanie Jordan features “world-class circus stars from around the globe” who will have “the entire family on the edge of their seats,” according to promoters.
The show features all-star performing dogs, the “Globe of Death,” a high wire, quick change along with clown and juggling from Tommy Tequila. Face painting, a bounce house, food concessions and photo opportunities are among the pre-show and intermission offerings.
The first 100 tickets sold for adults or children are $9.99. A family 5 pack (2 adults and up to 3 children) is $34.99. Adult general admission is $20 and it’s $10 for children ages 2-12.
