‘A History of American Fashion’ at Ellen Noël Art Museum
The Ellen Noël Art Museum is set to take a high heeled sashay into Steven Porterfield’s collection via “A History of American Fashion” Thursday, May 23 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The event, slated for the museum’s onsite library, is free to attend.
Porterfield, owner of The Cat’s Meow vintage clothing and antiques store in Midland, will share his expertise and insights on the topic at hand during a lecture at the special evening event.

The longtime friend and supporter of the museum also curated the 2020 exhibition “Betrothed: 250 Years of Wedding Fashion” there, according to the museum.
