American Pickers returning to Texas
The American Pickers are planning to film episodes in Texas in October, including the West Texas area, according to the Pecos Area Chamber of Commerce/CVB.
The popular show on The History Channel follows “pickers” who scour the country for hidden gems in junkyards, basements, garages, barns and elsewhere. The Pickers restore forgotten relics to their former glory, “transforming one person’s trash into another’s treasure,” show reps say.

Ahead of its Texas trip, the show is looking for leads and “would love to explore your hidden treasure,” the Pecos Area Chamber stated.
Anyone with a unique item, story to tell and who is ready to sell, are encouraged to contact the show. Note that the Pickers do not pick stores, flea markets, malls, auction businesses, museums or anything open to the public.
