Big Spring ISD to provide free meals to all students this school year

Big Spring ISD (BSISD) announced Sunday that all students in the District “will eat absolutely free in the 2023-2024 school year.”
That includes breakfast and lunch for students from pre-kindergarten up through high school, the District said.
“Along with free school supplies provided by BSISD, we are sincerely hoping this will take away some of the stress parents were feeling before the beginning of what promises to be a GREAT school year!,” the District stated on Facebook.
The first day back to school for all Big Spring ISD campuses in Thursday, Aug. 17.
