Carlsbad Chamber restores riverboat cruise

“Cruisin on the Pecos’ boat rides are back through Aug. 27, according to the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce.
The 45-minute boat rides up the Pecos River will be offered for $10 per person on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, according to the Chamber. Children ages 2 and under ride free.
Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.carlsbadchamber.com.
Boat rides will begin at Port Jefferson, 814 E. Riverside Drive.
“This is a great activity for family members visiting for the weekend,” Carlsbad Mayor Dale Janway said. “We hope to see these rides succeed, so that the process will continue throughout the year.”
