Carlsbad readies for 3rd Annual Cavern City Renaissance Festival
Magic, music, mead and more will be coming to Carlsbad Friday, Sept. 27 and Saturday, Sept. 28, when the “Cavern City Renaissance Festival” takes place at Lake Carlsbad Beach Park. Friday’s revelry will come alive from 4-8 p.m., while Saturday will get underway from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The 3rd annual incarnation of the Renaissance Festival will include at least 85 vendors, entertainment, armored combat, ample food & drink options and other retro enjoyment. Tickets range from $11.65 to $22.18 for teenagers and adults. Children under 13 years old are free both days.

Entertainment lined up for the Renaissance Festival includes: Clan Tynker Circus; Armored Combat Worldwide—USA Knights; Rafferty the Piper; Sebastian the Singing Pirate; Brethren of the Sunken Skull; Jamie O’Hara; Scott and Johanna Hungell-Darsee; Sun City Vikings; New Mexico Mermaids; Evan the Hammered Dulcimer Player; Sierra Sâhir; and the Destry Divine Fire Show.
