Kansas to celebrate 50 years of classic rock in Midland

Fans won’t have to travel to Kansas to celebrate the classic rock group’s “50th Anniversary Tour,” since they’re landing in Midland Fri., Oct. 25 at the Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center.

Kansas, known for hits like “Dust in the Wind” and “Carry on Wayward Son,” will kick off the doubly dubbed “Another Fork in the Road” tour at 7 p.m. at the center, ready to rock to the rafters.

“Fans will hear songs spanning 50 years of Kansas music,” said the band’s reps, noting that Kansas will play hits such as the aforementioned songs, as well as “Point of Know Return,” “Play the Game Tonight” and “Fight Fire with Fire.”

Fan faves and deep cuts that have rarely been played live will round off the band’s rock repertoire.
