Local seniors deliver goodies to Midland first responders

Local seniors recently spent a day expressing their gratitude to Midland first responders by delivering gifts of goodies to local fire and law enforcement departments.

On Sept. 8, members of the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), which is sponsored by Senior Life Midland, along with seven partners delivered baskets of goodies to the Midland police and fire departments as well as the Midland County Sheriff’s Office, RSVP Project Director Saul Herrera said.

“It was an incredibly rewarding experience, and it was very well received by our first responders which included Sheriff [David] Criner,” Herrera said.

Sheriff Criner thanked Herrera and Senior Life Midland for their generosity online.
