MCH celebrates opening of Panda Cares Center of Hope
Medical Center Hospital (MCH) celebrated its opening of the Panda Cares Center of Hope in the Samantha Canady Center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, Aug. 8.
The newly renovated space will offer programs focusing on therapeutic play, art therapy and even meditation. Video game systems, sensory wall panels, interactive games and a library are part of the new center.
Panda Express made the center possible as part of its partnership with the Medical Center Health System Foundation, which dates back to 2012.

“This newly renovated space is designed specifically for children, to help them heal mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually,” stated the MCH Foundation.
Panda Express is also a longtime supporter of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, “raising and donating more than $100 million over that time for pediatric healthcare,” stated the MCH Foundation.
