Midland Anti-Litter Coalition to hold community cleanup at Loop 250, SH-191

The Midland Anti-Litter Coalition is encouraging community members to join a clean up effort at the Loop 250/Highway 191 intersection on Friday.

The Coalition is a grassroots collaboration of businesses, nonprofits (including Keep Midland Beautiful) and city officials that gathers on the third Friday of each month, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., to pick up litter at that intersection.

Folks will meet at the Produce entrance at H-E-B located at 5407 Andrews Hwy, where they will grab supplies then head out to clean up the southwest corner of Loop 250 and 191.

“It’s a big area, and we need your help,” organizers said, adding, “See you there!”
