Midland College recognizes creative writing contest winners

The English & Language Arts Department at Midland College recognized winners of the 2023 Rebecca T. Watson Creative Writing Contest on Tuesday, Feb. 6.

Second Place: “Stellar Remnants” by Joshua Raj
Third Place: “Instituting a Classical Curriculum in Public Schools” by Alexis Allen
Fourth Place: “Persuading Is Not Just Talking” by Anh Tran
Honorable Mention: “Exploitation and Exhaustion: Women’s Rights within Victorian Literature” by Hannah Sanchez
