Midland Downtown Farmers Market to move to new location

The Midland Downtown Farmers Market is set to move from its current location at the Museum of the Southwest to its new downtown home at the former Bank of America location at 404 North Colorado St.

Saturday, Sept. 16, will be the market’s final day at its current location at South K Street and West Indiana Avenue. It will move to its new location the following Saturday, Sept. 23, according to the market.

The Midland-Reporter Telegram reported that the market plans to create a family-friendly space at its new location with grassy areas, walking paths, shaded spots and local music.

The Midland Downtown Farmers Market opens every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. All of its vendors are required to grow their own product, ensuring products are local.
