Midland ISD offers senior citizens free access to athletic events

Midland ISD is offering annual season pass for senior citizens to attend athletic events called “Gold Cards.”

Seniors aged 65 and older can pick up a Gold Card at any time during regular business hours by visiting the Athletics Office, located in Room 220 of MISD Central Office at 615 W. Missouri Avenue.

Gold Card holders get free admittance to all regular season athletic events at MISD facilities, including general admission seating for varsity football games. Gold Cards are not good for admission to playoff games or tournaments.

Gold Cards must be renewed annually.

“We are excited to offer the Gold Card program to our senior community,” said Executive Director of Athletics Wes Torres. “The updated renewal process will help us better serve our senior citizen fans and ensure everyone has an opportunity to enjoy our events.”
