Midland Rockhounds Opening Day set for April 11, promo schedule released
If there is anything better than baseball, it’s free stuff.
One month ahead of Opening Day at Momentum Bank Ballpark, the Midland Rockhounds announced their schedule of gameday promotions.
For the first three games from April 6-8, the Rockhounds will travel to Springdale, Ark., to play the NW Arkansas Naturals. Opening Day at Momentum Bank Ballpark is scheduled for Tuesday, April 11, at 6:30 p.m.
Also launching that day, of course, are gameday promotions. The season-long promotions include the 2-for-1 ticket Tuesdays (with Baskin Robbins coupon); half-price hot dogs on Wiener Wednesdays; discounted fountain and alcoholic beverages on Thirsty Thursdays, Giveaway Fridays to the first 1,000 fans in the gate, Family Sundays offering five tickets for $25 and a free ice cream scoop at the gate; and Fireworks Saturdays, which means fireworks after every Saturday game of the season. Fireworks days come with Theme Nights honoring groups such as military members, healthcare professionals and first responders.
On Opening Day, the Rockhounds will give away schedule magnet and RockHounds t-shirts. The April 14 game will feature a Rockhounds duffle bag giveaway. See the full list of promotions below.
