Midland to celebrate community giving at National Philanthropy Day luncheon

The Permian Basin Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is gearing up to host the 30th Annual National Philanthropy Day luncheon and awards ceremony.

These 2024 Honorees will be recognized at the National Philanthropy Day luncheon for their generous efforts, which made a lasting impact in the community:

  • Outstanding Philanthropic Family: The Davenport Family, including Elizabeth and Bob Davenport, Jr., Elizabeth & Hill Davenport, Isabelle & Adam Davenport, Callie & Trey Fuqua
  • Outstanding Philanthropic Foundation: The J C Ferguson Foundation
  • Outstanding Philanthropic Business: Frost Bank
  • Outstanding Philanthropic Organization: Serve Midland
  • Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser: Lauren Blackketter
  • Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy: Midland High School Football Team
  • Outstanding Fundraising Professional: Craig Stoker
  • Lifetime Achievement in Philanthropy: Terry & Jack Wilkinson

AFP is currently inviting businesses and individuals to become event sponsors and join in celebrating the spirit of giving in the Permian Basin. Sponsorship packages include a reserved table for eight guests and recognition across multiple platforms, including the event invitation, program, signage, social media, and the AFP Permian Basin website.

The event will take place on Nov. 14 at the Petroleum Club in Midland.
