Midland’s Bryce Hoppel advances to 800m semifinals in Paris Olympics 2024

Midland High graduate Bryce Hoppel advanced to the Olympic 800-meter semifinal after cruising to a second-place finish in his first-round heat.

Hoppel completed the heat with the time of one minute and 45.24 seconds.

In its coverage, NBC replayed the heat on TikTok, noting in text on the video, “Bryce Hoppel makes it look easy.”
