MMH healthcare professionals have used the robotic-arm assisted technology to conduct intricate procedures with unparalleled precision, such as joint replacements, spine surgeries, and more, according to MMH. The technology combines 3D CT-based planning, haptic technology and data analytics into one platform, enabling surgeons to plan surgeries in advance with greater predictability and personalization, the hospital states.

“We are immensely proud to reach this significant milestone of 1,000 MAKO SmartRobotics™ Surgery cases,” said Tim Simecek, director of Perioperative Services. “This achievement reflects our dedication to providing the highest quality healthcare to our community and our commitment of leading healthcare for greater Midland.”
