Monahans Farmers Market coming to Hill Park

Local peeps can get a leg up on healthy living by shopping and buying local at the Monahans Farmers Market Sat., Aug. 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Hill Park.

Hosted by Ward Memorial Hospital, organizers say community members can shop for fruits, vegetables, artisan baked pastries, spices, homemade candy, cheese, bread and more.

By hosting the Monahans Farmers Market, Ward Memorial Hospital looks to “promote health and wellness to our region by providing a Farmers Market where the community can purchase a variety of locally-grown, farm-fresh produce and related products,” per its website.

Hill Park is located on the corner of 500 S. Allen Ave. in Monahans.
