Museum hatches ‘inconceivable’ movie plans for Valentine’s Day
Searching for a “Valentine’s Date Night” that might be “inconceivable” in its splendor? Consider the Museum of the Southwest’s showing of the romantic comedy, The Princess Bride.
Locals can catch the classic 1987 movie in the museum’s Planetarium dome theatre Wednesday, Feb. 14 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are free for museum members and $15 per couple for non-members. The doors-to-the-stars open at 6:30 p.m.
Moviegoers will recall The Princess Bride features the adventuresome tale of onetime farm girl, Buttercup, her presumed deceased true love, Westley, the wicked Prince Humperdink of Florian and a whole cast of memorable characters wrapped up into a story read by a grandfather to his grandson.
