Museum of the Southwest preps for free Summer Sunday Lawn Concerts
The Museum of the Southwest in Midland will host eight free Summer Sunday Lawn Concerts on the front lawn of the historic Turner Mansion starting June 4.
The Midlandaires will perform June 4, followed by Small Town on June 11, Sarah Johnson on June 18, The West Texas Chapter of the Gospel Workshop of America on June 25, Tall City Band on July 9, Unsweet T’s on July 16, Dirty Glass on July 23 and The Croakin’ Toads on July 30. All shows run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Attendees are encouraged to pull out a lawn chair, bring along some refreshments, and enjoy live music. Food trucks will be on site.
The Summer Sunday Lawn Concerts are free thanks to the generosity of the musicians, corporate sponsors, underwriters and media sponsors.
