Pody’s BBQ in Pecos named on food mag’s list of ‘absolute best ribs in Texas’

Food magazine Mashed included Pody’s BBQ in Pecos on its list of ‘The Absolute Best Ribs in Texas.”

The publication noted Pody’s, located at the corner of 14th and Cedar streets, “prides itself on serving real Texas pit BBQ.”

“The ribs, as noted by many customers in online reviews, fall off the bone incredibly easily,” the article states. “They are also described as incredibly tender, and many adore the way they are prepared.”

The folks over at Pody’s said they were humbled by the recognition.

“We’re blessed with the best customers in the world,” the business posted on its Facebook page. “Thank you doesn’t begin to show our appreciation.”
