Permian Basin Road Safety Luncheon Series next heads to Monahans
The Permian Road Safety Coalition (PRSC) is partnering with Ryder to host its final Road Safety Luncheon Series of 2023, this time in Monahans on Thursday, Nov. 2.
The event runs from 10 a.m. (CDT) to 1 p.m. at the Ward County Event Center, although doors open at 8 a.m. Pre-event festivities, including a parking lot demonstration of the Street Driving Academy, start at 8:30 a.m.
Rowdy Resources is the presenting sponsor for the event and, via its generosity, a complimentary lunch will be served.
Guest presenters include representatives from Newsom Gale, Ryder, and the Texas Department of Public Safety. The Texas Department of Transportation will also present its “Far West Texas Truck Parking Implementation Plan” (click here to download) and #EndTheStreak.
The Midland-based PRSC is leading an effort to improve road safety and reduce the number of traffic-related injuries and deaths in the Permian Basin in collaboration with oil and natural gas operators, oil field service and transportation companies, non-governmental and governmental organizations. Previous luncheons in its ongoing traveling series this year took place in Midland, Carlsbad and Ft. Stockton.
