Permian Basin String Quartet readies for fall recital

The West Texas Symphony’s Permian Basin String Quartet will present its first recital of the season with “Da Capo,” Friday, Nov. 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the Copper Rose building in Odessa.

Tickets are $25/adults and $12/students and the fall event is part of Odessa Arts & Downtown Odessa First Friday ODTX.

During the evening, the String Quartet will perform String Quartet in B♭ Op. 76, No. 4 by Joseph Haydn; Fuga y Misterio by Astor Piazzolla; and String Quartet No. 2 in D major by Alexander Borodin. Romina Dimock and Gabriella St. James will each take to the violin, while Conrad Sclar will play viola and Suyeon Kim will perform on the cello.
