Sponsorships sought to support first responders at Odessa event
The Family Resiliency Center of the Permian Basin and the Bill Blackwood Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas (LEMIT) are seeking sponsors for the “3rd Annual 3-day Post Critical Incident Seminar” May 25-27 at Stonegate Fellowship in Odessa.
Funds received will be used to provide meals and snacks over the three-day seminar, which aims to support law enforcement, fire and rescue personnel, telecommunicators and their spouses in the Permian Basin who have experienced highly traumatic events, according to the Family Resiliency Center. The nonprofit said these traumas have included the mass shooting in Midland and Odessa on Aug. 31, 2019, line of duty deaths and officer involved shootings, to name a few.
“As part of this seminar, we are requesting monetary donations for these heroes who do so much for our cities,” said the Family Resiliency Center, which added the first responders and related personnel will not pay to attend the event.
Sponsorship levels for the three-day event include: Blue Diamond $5,000-plus, which includes a logo on social media, website, press release, billboard and the event signage; Red Diamond, $2,500, which includes a logo on social media, website, press release and the event signage; Purple Diamond $1,000, which includes a logo on social media, website and the press release; Pink Diamond $500, which includes a logo on social media and the press release; and yellow diamond $250, which includes a logo on social media and mention in the press release.
The deadline to support the May event is April 30. Contact Chandra Coleman of the Family Resiliency Center of the Permian Basin at ccoleman@frcpb.org or call 432-848-6944 to provide a sponsorship. Donation letters will be given to those who provide support. Stonegate Fellowship in Odessa, where the event will take place, is located at 4240 Preston Smith Road, Odessa, Texas.
