Texas Roadhouse to host annual ‘Tip-A-Cop’ fundraiser for Special Olympics
Texas Roadhouse locations across Texas — including in Midland, Odessa, San Angelo and Lubbuck — are participating again in the annual Tip-A-Cop event, during which diners enjoy the restaurant chain’s famous rolls while local law enforcement officers help raise funds for athletes taking part in Special Olympics Texas.
The event will take place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, at both the Midland location at 4512 Loop 250 Frontage Road, and also at the Odessa location at 4221 N Grandview Ave.
The San Angelo location at 3057 Loop Dr. 306 is hosting the event from 5-9 p.m. nightly from July 24-27. The Lubbock location at 6101 Slide Rd. will run from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 27.
As part of the dining experience, members of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics will act as servers at Texas Roadhouse as they fundraise for athletes, who will also attend as guests of honor.
“All money raised will go towards supporting Special Olympics Texas athletes in your area,” officials with the Special Olympics said.
