UTPB football announces free admission to all home games

The University of Texas Permian Basin (UTPB) announced admission is free to all Falcon football games and tailgating spots this season.

The decision follows the Falcons’ historic Lone Star Conference championship season, and is also in celebration of UTPB’s 50th anniversary.

“We had such a successful season last year, and as we mark our 50th anniversary, we wanted to give back to the community that has supported us through the years,” said UTPB President Dr. Sandra Woodley. “This year, we’re moving from a ticketed admission approach to a model that provides free admission with an option to donate to Falcon Athletics. We invite everyone to come out and enjoy the games and the exciting college game day atmosphere right here in West Texas.”

Tailgating in the parking lot at both Ratliff and Astound is open to all. Tailgate setup begins at noon on a first-come, first-served basis.
