Virtual popcorn fundraiser to support Carlsbad students

Local popcorn lovers can right now buy a premium version of their favorite snack while also supporting students in Carlsbad.

The Carlsbad Early College High School Business Professionals of America is hosting the online fundraiser through June 24.

Reecey Castillo is hosting a Reecey’s Pop-Up Store selling award-winning, Double Good ultra-premium popcorn. Fifty-percent of each purchase benefits the fundraiser, Castillo said.

“This fundraiser is being held to pay for this year’s student membership fees and additional expenses,” Castillo said, adding, “Prices for Signature Bags (5 cups each) start at $9, and Curated Collections at $26. You save more when you purchase 3 or more bags of one flavor.”

Purchases are shipped within 1-2 weeks of the purchase date.
