Ellen Noël Art Museum invites community to celebrate Dia de los Muertos through art
The Ellen Noël Art Museum invites the Permian Basin to embrace the spirit of Dia de los Muertos at its community art day on Saturday, Oc. 28.
The free event, presented by the Museum for over 15 years, features free hands-on art activities, dance and musical peformances from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Museum, located at 4919 E. University Blvd. in Odessa.
Viva Mexico! will perform at 2:30 p.m., while Mariachi Armonia! will perform at 3:30 p.m. Also featured will be an Ofrenda display by the 8th Grade Spanish Students from Compass Academy.
“Join us in commemorating this beautiful tradition, and let’s create lasting memories together,” Museum officials said, adding, “We can’t wait to welcome you on this joyous occasion.”
