Ellen Noël Art Museum set to host 'West Texas Fest' annual fundraiser

Ellen Noël Art Museum set for ‘West Texas Fest’ annual fundraiser

The Ellen Noël Art Museum (ENAM) of the Permian Basin is inviting the region to its annual fundraiser, “West Texas Fest,”which will bring food, country music, dancing and cigar rolling into the Rolling 7’s Ranch in Midland Fri., Oct. 13 from 6-10 p.m.

General admission entry is at 7 p.m., while sponsors can enter earlier at 6 p.m.

West Texas Fest not only supplies the goods for a roaring fun time, but also serves as an annual ENAM fundraiser supporting rotating exhibitions, educational classes and workshops. ENAM said that successful fundraising efforts, such as the fest, enable them to offer the community cost-free programs like Summer Art Camp, Community Art Days and Art 2 Go. In particular, Art 2 Go brings art into the classrooms by having ENAM instructors offer lessons and activities to every ECISD second grader in Odessa and beyond in Midland.

Tickets to West Texas Fest are $125, including tastings and one voucher to local food vendors and an option to purchase more. Designated Driver tickets are also available for $75, including a food and water voucher. Special access to the sponsor-only tasting from 6-7 p.m. is available for those who have sponsored or underwritten the event.
