Black-tie benefit to support Midland’s vulnerable homebound seniors

There’s no place like home for many of us, including the elderly seniors of Midland County.

Senior Life Midland is inviting the community to its “Salute 2023, There’s No Place Like Home” dinner benefit on Thurs., Feb. 23 at 6:30 p.m. at The Petroleum Club of Midland. The black-tie event aims to raise funds to support vulnerable homebound seniors in the community.

The nonprofit calls Salute 2023, a “magical night of dinner and dancing” and guests will be entertained by the 17-piece orchestra, Big Basin Band, courtesy of Eric and Emily Baker.

Individual tickets to Salute 2023 are $150 or more; the Yellow Brick Road level is for those who donate $1,500 or more and offers a table for eight and name recognition at the event and in the program; the Emerald City level is for donors of $3,000 or more and comes with a preferred table for eight, recognition at the event, name/logo in the program and a party tray for the table; and the Ruby Red Slipper level is for those who donate $5,000 or more and provides a VIP table for eight, recognition at the event, name/logo in the program, a party tray at the table and a special gift for each of your guests.
