Free back-to-school haircuts offered in Odessa

The Amenti Beauty Academy in Odessa is offering free haircuts for kids ages 5 to 12 through Aug. 31.
In a Facebook post, the academy, which preps local residents for careers in cosmetology, welcomed families of students needing a free haircut before the start of school to book an appointment here.
We know of at least one happy customer. A pleased parent gave a Facebook shout out to Amenti about her daughter’s first haircut, stating, “She loves it & so do I! New school year, here we come!”
