Golden Door Realty’s Criselda Lujan goes ‘Platinum’

Barstow native Criselda Lujan earned the Platinum Award for Sales Over $10 million from the Odessa Board of Realtors at their annual banquet on Jan. 25.

It marked Lujan’s third consecutive award at this annual event.

“The Platinum Award is a prestigious award. In the past, only two other producers from Pecos have earned this award,” said Connie Coots, the Odessa Board of Realtors CEO.

‘I love what I do’

Lujan is an accredited, independent real estate broker and has been helping match the right people with the right properties in Texas for over 10 years. With extensive experience in sales and customer service, she provides assistance in all aspects of real estate. She credits her expansive network with enabling her to open doors for her clients on both sides of the property equation.

“I love what I do. I get to help people fulfill dreams of home ownership right where I grew up. Awards like these are just the cherry on top; because, I already won when I see the look of happiness in the faces of my friends when I hand over the keys to their new properties.”

Golden Door Realty

Last year, Lujan decided to earn her brokerage license and started Golden Door Realty right out of her own home. The hope would be that she would do well enough to get into her own office. In less than a year, she moved into her new office and within a few months, she had two realtors join her team.

Her Golden Door Realty staff currently includes Marisa L. Florez (Realtor/Pecos), Camille LaFontaine (Realtor/Dallas), Vivi Guerra (Real Estate Administrator).

Core Concepts

Lujan’s business journey doesn’t just end with buying and selling real estate. Last last year, she partnered with a local Monahans businessman to create Core Concepts. The business acquired some property and is responsible for leasing storage units as well as RV spaces. As the newest member of the team, Monica Pallan rounds out the group with her Property Management skills.

The team is growing and Lujan has business aspirations that include the growth and forward movement of Pecos. Along with her business ventures, Lujan maintains a busy volunteer schedule and is a dedicated mother, “proving that (with a strong work ethic) we are all capable of bettering our community,” she said.
