Jackson Browne to perform at Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center
Jackson Browne, the Hall of Fame musician and activist who created iconic songs such as “Running on Empty” and “Take it Easy,” is set to perform at the Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center in Midland on Saturday, July 15.
The show starts at 8 p.m. and tickets run from $73 to $183. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Browne was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004 and the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame in 2007. He has released 15 studio albums, his latest “Downhill From Everywhere” in 2021 that was nominated for a Grammy for Best Americana Album.
Browne is also known for his advocacy on behalf of the environment, human rights and arts education. He’s a co-founder of the groups Musicians United for Safe Energy (MUSE) and Nukefree.org and a memebr of the ocean advocacy group Ocean Elders.
