Keep Odessa Beautiful honors Super Pollo for its ‘beautifully kept yards’
When a home or business is well kept, the whole city benefits.
That’s the idea behind a new program by Keep Odessa Beautiful that recognizes residents and businesses for having a “Star Yard.”
Keep Odessa Beautiful, a nonprofit organization working to empower citizens to reduce waste, promote cleanliness and beautify the Odessa community, is now accepting nominations for its Odessa Pride Star Yard of the Month awards.
The Star Yard of the Month program recognizes Odessa citizens “who contribute to the overall aesthetics and health of the city by maintaining exceptionally clean and beautiful properties, both residential and commercial,” according to the city.
On June 30, the city announced Super Pollo off Lee Street as the business with the “Star Yard” for the month of June. The homeowner to win the award for June was Lilly McMillan.
