Midland festival to pair car show with live music
Gorgeous cars and live music will unite for the Tall City AMF & Car Show (AMF) at Midland’s Centential Plaza on Saturday, April 8, 2023.
AMF is the vision of Enrique Dwinal, general manager of Pi Social in downtown Midland, who has a passion for cars and music. The festival’s carshow includes classes for classic cars, sports cars, custom trucks and low-riders. In addition to live music, with Little Texas serving as the headliner, the festival will also include food trucks, craft vendors, bars and family-friendly activities.
To enter a car in the show, go here. Tickets to enter the festival are $25 per person at the gate, and $20 online presale through March 31 (purchase tickets here.). Children under 12 get free admission and must be accompanied by an adult.
Gates will open at 5 p.m. for the car show, which will be accompanied by a DJ. The Texas Songwriter’s Showcase will begin at 7 p.m., followed by a performance from country band Little Texas at 8:30 p.m.
Participants who enter their cars into the show have a chance to win $500 cash for Best-in-Overall-Show and $200 cash for Best-in-Class.
