Museum welcomes community to Christmas at the Mansion

The Museum of the Southwest is welcoming the community back to its Christmas at the Mansion series of events, which run from Nov. 30 through Dec. 9.

Events take place at the Historic Turner Mansion.

It all begins with the season opening President’s Club Preview Party on Thursday, Nov. 30, an exclusive event for members of the Museum’s Presidents Club.

Then on Saturday, Nov. 2, members are invited to brunch with ballerinas from the Midland Festival Ballet’s Nutcracker.

Two days later, the Mansion will be festively decorated for a Christmas Luncheon that is open to the public.

Then on Wednesday, Dec. 6, the Museum will host ReinBeer XII, its annual beer festival featuring live music, food and more. This member is also open to the public, while members receive special pricing on up to two tickets. Sponsorships are available for this festival.

On Friday Dec. 8, a fully-booked Holiday Tea time will take place at the Mansion, and then the following day, a Christmas Open House will bring Santa, trains and trucks, a gingerbread workshop, cookies and more to the Mansion.
