Red Dirt Black Gold music festival returns to Artesia on Sept. 30
Randy Rogers Band is set to headline a night of free live music and fun activities at Red Dirt Black Gold in Artesia.
The music festival, created to honor and celebrate the oil and gas industry, will start at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, at Heritage Plaza in Artesia, located just off Main Street downtown.
The lineup includes four acts, starting with Two of a Kind at 5 p.m.; Justin Kemp Band at 6 p.m.; Sunny Sweeney at 7 p.m.; and Randy Rogers Band at 9 p.m.
In addition to live music, the festival features fun activities including a Kids Zone, food truck, beer garden, craft vendors, a cornhole tournament and Main Street Sidewalk Sales.
“The Red Dirt Black Gold festival is an opportunity to give back to the hardworking folks in southeast New Mexico, while tipping our hats to the industries that power our region,” organizers state on the festival website. “Thousands of attendees have enjoyed world class musical acts and community activities with free admission.”
