Popular Odessa comic book store to close its doors

All items in the store are 25 percent off for the closing sale, Laws said,
“The economy and other outside factors led us to close our doors,” he said. “We will miss each and every one of you.”
Laws purchased the store at 3615 North Dixie in 2019, according to the City of Odessa, which highlighted the business in June.
He told the city he’d visit The Hive Comis as a kid and remembered feeling “like a kid in a candy store.” When the previous owner was looking to sell, Laws fulfilled a dream by purchasing it.
