Permian Basin Area Foundation awards $1.7M to 25 nonprofits serving West Texans
Permian Basin Area Foundation (PBAF) announced today it has awarded $1,710,000 to nonprofit organizations serving West Texans during its fall grant cycle.
The Foundation semi-annually awards grants after reviewing applications submitted during the spring and fall. Spring grant cycle pre-applications are due on April 1, 2023. Visit www.pbaf.org to apply.
PBAF has been partering with donors to achieve meaningful gains in quality of life in West Texas communities since 1989. Through 2021, the Foundation has grown permanent assets to an estimated $280 million, and since its inception it has returned nearly $100 million to West Texas communities through grants and scholarships.
“It is a pleasure to work with these nonprofit organizations and partner with them,” Grants Administrator Raymond Williams said. “Our nonprofits serve so many in our communities and it is a privilege to award these grants.”
