Petroleum Museum invites community to free Family Science Night

The Petroleum Museum is hosting its next Family Science Night on Jan. 26, 2023.

The event, called Bits & Bots, invites visitors to explore the world of robotics and engineering as they “create a balancing robot, experiment with magnetic slime, code LEGO robots, and much more,” according to the museum.

Bits & Bots runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is free, courtesy of Chevron. Museum members get the added bonus of early admission from 6-6:30 p.m.

This will be the third of four Family Science Nights in 2022-23 as part of the partnership with Chevron. Previous nights included Journey through the Jurassic in September and Mad Science in October. The fourth and final Family Science Night of 2022-2023 will be Forces of Nature on Thursday, March 30, 2023.
