Carlsbad preps for ‘Rollin’ on the Pecos’

The holiday season is rollin’ along in Carlsbad.

Rollin’ on the Pecos, a neon-lit roller rink party with a live DJ, food trucks, vendor and craft booths and family-friendly fun, is set for 6-9 p.m. Dec. 26–27 as part of the Christmas on the Pecos celebration.

Christmas on the Pecos is Carlsbad’s signature winter event, transforming the banks of the Pecos River into a shining holiday destination from late November through Dec. 31 (closed Christmas Day).

Each evening, visitors can board festive boat tours from 711 Muscatel Ave. and float beneath dazzling lights and holiday displays that line the riverfront — a tradition that draws thousands of locals and visitors to southeastern New Mexico.
