Odessa to host 2026 Lions State Convention in May

Odessa will host the 2026 Lions State Convention at the Marriott Convention Center from May 28 to May 30.

The annual event brings Texas Lions Club members together for leadership training and community service planning.

Distinguished International President A.P. Singh of India, a volunteer with over 40 years of experience, will travel to Odessa to serve as a keynote speaker. His appearance highlights the global connection between local Texas clubs and the international organization.

The weekend schedule includes awards ceremonies, networking, and strategy sessions focused on expanding humanitarian efforts.

“Local organizers are excited to welcome visitors to Odessa and showcase the spirit of West Texas hospitality while celebrating the mission of Lions Clubs: to empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace, and promote international understanding,” organizers said.
