United Supermarkets plans 2025 grand opening in Andrews

The United Family recently announced it purchased land in Andrews to open a United Supermarkets, with a grand opening anticipated in late 2025.

It will locate at the southwest corner of Highway 385 and NW 1500. A fuel and convenience store under United Express’s banner will be added to the site alongside the main grocery store.

“We are so excited to be joining the community of Andrews,” said Sidney Hopper, president of The United Family. “I want to thank the City of Andrews and the Andrews Economic Development District for supporting this endeavor. We look forward to welcoming the community as our guests in 2025.”

Plans for this store have been in the works for at least three to four years, Andrews City Manager Steve Eggleston said in a recent newsletter.
